PERISTIWA TUTUR DALAM RITUAL TARI SEBLANG MASYARAKAT USING BANYUWANGI

AbstractThis study aims to determine the form of speech and socio-cultural function aspeech event in Seblang dance ritual ceremony Using community inBanyuwangi Regency. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitativeresearch form. data source this participant whofollows events activities directly from object focused by targetresearcher.The results showed that there were two types forms theSeblang ritual, namely, preparation for implementation ritual. Asfor speeches are fourtypes events, namely during meeting at village head’s house,speech visit grave, spring, themaking Omprok Seblang. Furthermore, oftraditional rituals one type follows process tothe end.Then social traditional as socialglue medium socialization. cultural functions dance, clean salvation, inviting fertility, means oftreating illnesses, honoring ancestors.
